How It Works
Install the Extension
Add CaptureTwit to your browser from the Chrome Web Store or load it as an unpacked extension.
Navigate to Twitter
Visit twitter.com or x.com. The extension automatically detects Twitter pages and adds camera icons.
Click to Capture
Click the camera icon on any tweet or profile to capture a screenshot. The image is automatically copied to your clipboard.
Share or Save
Paste the screenshot anywhere you need it - in documents, messages, or save it to your device.
Installation
Manual Installation
- Download the extension files from GitHub
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension folder
- The extension will appear in your extensions list
